Mission
Gita Research and Action Institute is committed to advancing sustainable empowerment, social inclusion, and meaningful participation of migrants, refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable communities, with particular attention to women and girls, disadvantaged children, and child labourers. By bridging applied research with social action, the Institute generates evidence-based knowledge, conducts policy analysis, and develops educational and support initiatives that strengthen individual and community capacities. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and practical interventions, Gita seeks to address structural barriers, promote equitable socio-economic integration, and create opportunities for vulnerable populations in Germany, across Europe, Afghanistan, and other countries hosting Afghan migrants and refugees.
Vision
Gita Research and Action Institute envisions inclusive, equitable, and resilient societies in which migrants, refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable communities—particularly women, girls, and disadvantaged children—enjoy equal opportunities for education, meaningful social participation, human security, and fair access to resources and essential services. We aspire to a future where human dignity, social justice, and equal rights are upheld, and where public policies and social development initiatives are informed by evidence, responsive to community needs, and designed to foster sustainable empowerment, social cohesion, and shared prosperity.
